One change at a time

Every two-test comparison in the matrix: the same build measured with and without one change. The number at the right is ΔRw, the ISO 717-1 curve fitted to the band-by-band difference, so it can differ by a decibel from subtracting the two Rw values.

CH.03 · Correlation

Mean R against flow resistivity

Each insulated test at the mean flow resistivity of its product. Airflow resistivity, not R-value, is what orders these insulations acoustically: compare 90 mm R2.7 at σ ≈ 33.6k with 100 mm R5 at σ ≈ 8.8k.
